interesting weekend

the weekend that was

• saturday morning - learnt that u r not supposed to take a u-turn when the traffic signal shows red - cost of lesson rs. 100 a.ka chllan by a thulla. n thats when i cud have avoided all the jazz by straightaway hitting the parking lot instead of scouting for some space to park for free.
• saturday evening - went for sports climbing at IMF. second attempt at that, cud climb the wall twice this time as compare to once for my first attempt last year. n then it rains, time to windup the climbing taamjhaam. any ways, was not in a position to climb any more. forearm, biceps n thigh all in a bad shape now.
• sunday morning - some wiki / youtube search about TBBT
  
• sunday morning - some guitar practice, have not named my guitar blue moon for no reason.
• sunday afternoon to evening- went to see X-Men First Class with Rajat Sharma SPS @ PVR Plaza. nice hall, nice movie. folllowed by CP gaeda n south indian at sarvana bhavan, window shopping @ chorma, drooling over latest gadgets n gizmos. irritated the couple sitting next to us at the movie hall with satirical comments like the child screeming being a childhood version of sunny deol from the movie gadhar, 'do u knw what they say about people with big feet' - big feet - big shoes #notting hill classic. the couple did laugh but seemed miffed. who cares #CheapThrills.
• sunday night - X Men series ka torrent download karna toh banta hai boss!!

an evening well spent

spent the evening doing some creative stuff... supw stuff..good ol' school days

made a face mask, carry bag fancy dress and paper mache bowl for vanshu, my neighbor's kid for green week..

was good fun

they they have been asked to get green vegetables for lunch for one of these days :D

highlights of the week(feeling lazy to write it out in full, may be i can edit it sometime later)

monday - plan to meet sachin, rajat from school. plan aborted at 11th hour

tuesday - finally met sachin n rajat. had a good time catching up with them. my first mug of beer as well - kingfisher lager - must admit didn't much liked it though. but wanted to try it once.

wednesday - my entries for artree get published for voting.

thursday - the video - mere do bachhon ki maa - amazing puns - addictive stuff..was humming it till sunday on last count

friday -

• got a chance to be on air with sarthka for nsnb - asked my pet question- color of cross used by chemist shops sarthak answered it but like a bazigar , i won a nescafe hamper even after loosing the game.
• Delhi Jazz Festival - A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. music - first genuine experience of live music - amazing atmosphere - amazing crowd - met sarthak at the concert n the recognized me from the chat we had that morning - recency effect works

saturday - the vmc nat - had my share of close shave experiences during the test

sunday -

• the parish retreat - cooked food for about 80 people with dias uncle, anoop n the team - rice n dal n pickle - awesome experience - also the message during the serom there is no 'point of no return' for sinners, so straighten up n start a new when u can
• the new keyboard at church was buzzing for some strange reason. my jugaad worked and cud find the reason for the problem.
• a friend's b'day
• a friend hopefully has been able to zero-in on the guy who could be the would be groom
• amazing maggi for dinner
