surprise of the day - bada saurabh got htiched

got an updated about bada saurabh. he was tagged in an image.

in the first image he was giving a bouquet to lady. i though might me some office function.

next pic he and that very lady sitting besides each other in traditional indian dress and a mala in their neck!!

yippe.. saurabh ke shaadi pakki ho gayi.. those were pics from his roka ceremony.

bhabi's name is pooja. nice couple.

ghar ki kheti.. my mom's garaden

after a brief interval, the dormant photographer within me woke up to today's bright n sunny morning an decided to let the camera do the talking.

clicked 'sitting ducks'...flowers from my mom's kitchen garden for my subject. the bright sun coupled with the bright colors of the flowers were a good incentive to shoot.

some of the shots were tough. the camera wud keep focusing the background instead of the flower. some of the flowers were growing at an odd angle. the lilies in specific.the flowers normally face the ground owing to their weight and weak stem. had to virtually lay on the ground to get this one right..

a beautiful parable our parish priest shared with us yesterday.

the inventor of pencil, told it four fundamental facts
1. your value lies in your core, thats what you actually are.
2. you will experience pain when you are sharpened but it will bring out the best in you.
3. you will be most effective when you leave yourself in the hands of others.
4. you are expected to leave beautiful marks, but be humble enough to accept being erased,if you create somethng wrong.

guess, all these are applicable to us humans as well :)
